-An apparent restoration of the relationship between Yumi and her sister. It seems Junko has decided to reconcile because of the issue with Yumi`s father`s terminal cancer.
-Yumi`s father`s condition is a lot better after his surgery to remove two brain tumors.
-Even though we have little money God has constantly provided for us with free meals every so often and a free bag of rice.

-Favor in finding a full time job in Japan
-Finances to live off of and pay off our debts
-We are not sure what will happen with Yumi`s family. It seems as though we will not live with them as intially planned.
-Finances for buying a used vehicle ($3,000- $5,000)
-Protection for our health, all three of us have had bronchitis and are still recovering.

-Vision for us and Shou as we meet and pray together.
-Finances for Bibles and other Christian books and resources.

-Salvation for Yumi's mother, father, and sister.
-Continued healing for Yumi's father who had a lung removed from cancer. His recovery has been miraculous already. Please pray that He would recognize God as the one who has saved him from sudden death and that he would give glory to God for his miraculous recovery.
-A revival work of the LORD in Yumi`s brother`s life. He has said yes to salvation, but knows very little and has little desire to follow after Christ daily.

*I have highlighted updated pray requests.

Fighting for Forgiveness

Often as Christians we forget the power in forgiveness. We forsake the humility of heart that led us to the cross of Christ. This broken humility is the shell that carries a precious seed of joy. This joy resounds when God says, "You are forgiven!" and embraces us again as His beloved. We have be given a powerful tool in forgiveness. Though our enemies curse us and hurt us we can still cry out, "Abba, forgive them! They do not know what they are doing!"
This has been our cry for the last month as we have struggled with evil spirits of jealousy, division and confusion within Yumi`s family. It was only yesterday that something broke and forgiveness flowed. Now is a time for healing and rebuilding of broken bridges in these relationships. Soon, I have no doubt that we will see the Kingdom of God come to Yumi`s family. Please pray that we would remain faithful in prayer, striving together with God to see salvation and the baptism of fire and Holy Spirit come to everyone of Yumi`s family members(Matthew 3:11).

Spiritual Warfare

It has been a while since our last posting. So much has happened in the last two weeks. We are weary from warfare. We have been afflicted with sickness. We have come alongside in support of Yumi`s father, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. We have been fighting through relational issues with Yumi`s mother, who seems determined to not to move in with us, despite the fact she is resentfully having to pay her portion of the rent. Everyday the drama seems to escalate. We are seeing demonic affliction upon Yumi`s brother. Daily we are having to rebuke words of cursing and death, in Jesus` name. Oh my soul is thirsty for living water! God bring forth springs of living water from these bitter pools!
However, we have seen the hand of our God in bringing Yumi and her sister together. It has been amazing to see them come together and speak to one another after not speaking with each other for over two years. Praise the LORD! So we watch and wait and pray in these times. We may have to move again, if things are not resolved with Yumi`s mother. So we ask for His will to be done in all this and may our prayers be heard. Amen.
