Taking the Gospel outside the Building - Empowering JAPAN

Ryan Denlinger ministry partner at Empowering Japan and I at dinner in Fukuoka
This past April and May we held Empowering JAPAN conferences in Okinawa.  These were gatherings were held at churches and consisted of teaching and practical application times for the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Not only was it a time for believers to come together in worship and ministry but also to go out in groups to the streets and shops and share the Gospel along with demonstrating the LOVE & POWER of God.

Paul wrote about this specifically in his letter to the Corinthians.

My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power...

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.

So we see this is a very biblical approach to sharing the Gospel, the message of Christ come in the flesh, crucified, buried and raised from the dead, who is alive and is LORD.  Of course there are a variety of encounters that you face when you take the message outside the walls of a church gathering.  And we talk about a variety of these in the conferences.  The coolest part is seeing everyday people go out and be used by God and see His kingdom made manifest on the earth as a result.

We saw so many healed, many people coming to faith and believing in Christ, others being delivered from demonic spirits.  And it is important to realize this is not simply for those special men and women of God but this power is available for every believer.

Below is a highlight video of the conferences.  God bless and more is to come!
